Who We Are
The Harris County Mexican American Sheriff's Organization is a nonprofit dedicated to promoting professionalism, equality, and advancement for Latino officers in the Harris County Sheriff's Office. What began as a small group of passionate officers in 1984 has grown into a respected organization with deep ties to the Sheriff's Office, county officials, and the communities we serve. One of our proudest achievements was securing bilingual pay for all eligible personnel across the Sheriff's and Constable's Offices — a milestone that still impacts officers today.
